GOLDEN VALLEY TREE PARK

Public BBQ

Golden Valley Tree Park transforms into nature's own art gallery during autumn, when deciduous trees put on a spectacular show that would make any European arboretum jealous. Three distinct walking trails wind through collections of exotic trees that somehow thrive in this corner of Western Australia. The volunteers have created something genuinely special here - the short paved path accommodates wheelchairs, while longer trails reward the adventurous with deeper forest encounters. The autumn colours are genuinely breathtaking - reds, oranges, and yellows that seem almost artificial in their intensity. Proper toilets, picnic spots, and dog-friendly policies make this accessible for everyone. Entry is free though donations are welcomed, making this one of those rare experiences where value exceeds expectation. Well worth timing your visit for peak autumn when the trees deliver their most dramatic performance.
